CBR Update Part 1

After the last crash at R3 Sentul Circuit, it was a good time to change the livery and install some performance parts for the CBR. The new parts are: New fairing with new Red/White/Blue livery, HRC full system exhaust, HRC brake line, HRC racing throttle, HRC rear set, Starlane lap timer and new left steering clip-on that was broken during the crash.

As to Feb 19th, it was not finish yet, some of the parts were also not yet arrived. So no practice this week and next.

Some of the pics..

R15 mechanics installed HRC full exhaust system. HRCfull exhaust shall add bit more power to the CBR, not that I need one🙂 Yet the sound is very-very good! I like.

The rear look of the under seat silencer. Very simple looks compare to the stock.

Tank fairing installed, Honda’s wing in red on top of white background.

Look from the back. Very clean look silencer there.

All and all look very good! As of matter of fact, it is too good! I hope no crash in the future, other wise the paint job will be ruined!!!

  1. I like the new color, more traditionally Honda.
Would be very nice if you record the screaming sound, and uploaded to youtube, hehehe…

Btw, I already had the Twist of a wrist I and II, haven’t got the time to read it though..

  2. @stoner27.. thanks bro

    @citra
I have the sound video of 996, S2R with and without Zard.. I will record the CBR as well and post it on the blog.. stay tune..

Good.. you got the ToW, learn them well my friend🙂

  3. esemelekete…

If you play motogp at PSP white means “Rookie” or beginer.. hehehe that is who I am.. a beginer.. so the color of the bike and the helmet is white..😉

  4. New tire from Pirelli. Have been riding on these rubbers for a while now. I did not want to post a review without some mileage. These rubbers are slated to be the Corsa III replacements, just think of these as Corsa III with everything improved on. Tire warm up time is excellent. Rear grip during acceleration is very good. Front tire stability during braking is very good. Turn entrance tip-in excellent. Tire wear is very good. The tire carcass is on the softer side vs something like a Dunlop. This I prefer better for aggressive street riding, as to stiff of a tire will add too much rider feedback. (When riding fast on the street you want to devote as much of your attention to other things) So far I have no complaints yet. Also the price of these tires are good.

The only thing that might need improvement is the side to side transfers, but this may not be the result of the tire.

If you like the feel of the Corsa III and need a replacement, this is the tire for you.

    Recommended hot track temps F: 34 R: 34
Street pressures will be slightly higher.

P.S. I am not a Pro racer. Nor do I have access to a “track” Just my input.
