Ducati Superbike 996

Ducati Superbike 996 Model Year 1999.

Engine: L Twin 2 cylinder DOCH, 996 cc, 11.5:1 compression ratio, injection. Liquid Cooled.

Weight: 198kg (dry)

Current KM: 11.000 (Dec 07)

  1. This bike is now for sale? Including the Stoner seat Cover?, How much do you want for this? One thing I don’t particularly like is the new livery, the original red is more.. well… original ?
    BTW it never crashed right??

  2. Hi Stoner27 Yup…

    My price is 160 mil nego. The extras are:

    1. Ducati Perfomance seat cowl with the real Stoner signature ..
    2. Ohlins steering dumper
    3. Original wind screen plus the one currently installed (the black one)
    4. New Dunlop Qualifier tyre, use only in Sentul for about 80 laps already.
    5. New front brake pad.
    6. New timing belt, just did thorough check up.
    7. Just re-new the STNK, valid till 30 Oct 2008.

    I did drop the bike one at Citos (jatoh bego) but no crash at road or especially in circuit. Hence the new livery, but Ducati firing is a blank canvas, you can put any livery you want. Mine cost about 1.5 mil to paint. The new desmosedici livery is good one!

    wow. 160 mil? I’m speechless… hehe, a little bit too steep for me, well.. a lot actually, hehe,
    I don’t blame you though..it’s a very nice bike, with a very collectible autograph..
    Not for me … for now, but i’ll keep an eye on this item..still.. hehe..lurking through the ads..

  7. Hi Bona,
    I believe Jwl bought this one? hehe
    But he repainted the Stoner autograph! I couldn’t believe it!
    Btw I was just lurking around (again) to seek the possibility of a second ducati.. hehe
    The 996 is an update of the 916 right? Is there any legal 916 in Indonesia ? because by 1997 there’s not yet a Ducati ATPM here..?
